North Korea fired ballistic missile again: Tested in Sea of Japan, threatened South Korea on military drill with US!
North
Korea has fired a ballistic missile from its East Coast towards the sea. South
Korea's Defense Minister Lee-Jong-sup has claimed missile fire towards the Sea
of Japan. Japan's Coast Guard has also confirmed this. However, what was this
missile and how far it went, no information has been received yet.
Earlier
on Friday, the Foreign Minister of North Korea had threatened to take strict
measures against South Korea while announcing the military exercise. He accused
the US and South Korea of disturbing the peace of the region by planning 20
military drills this year.
US-South Korea will conduct tabletop exercise on
February 23,
while next week America and South Korea are going to
conduct tabletop exercise in Washington regarding military exercise and
strategy during emergency. In this exercise to be held on February 23,
discussions will be held between the two countries regarding the use of nuclear
weapons and crisis management during possible threats.
In the midst of the nuclear threat from North Korea,
the two countries will also talk about sharing information as well as
increasing America's involvement in the region. Along with this, the military
forces of both the countries will also participate in joint field exercises in
March.
