Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky reached France by UK plane late night after meeting Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in Britain. Here he met President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olof Scholz over dinner. Zelensky urged France and Germany to send fighter jets and heavy weapons as soon as possible to give a tough challenge to Russia.

President Macron said that France is with Ukraine for victory, for peace, for Europe and for the people to get their rights. We will continue our efforts to provide assistance to Ukraine. He said that the future of the whole of Europe is at stake in Ukraine. Russia cannot and should not win.


President Macron said that Russia should neither win nor will it win.

'Ukraine is part of the European family'

On the other hand, German Chancellor Scholz called Ukraine a part of the European family. He said that Germany has so far provided Ukraine with financial aid as well as arms and humanitarian aid and we will stand by Ukraine as long as it is needed.

Gelensky has been worried about Macron's attitude

According to French Macron had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin several times after the start of the war. He also expressed concern about taking care of Russia's interests in any final agreement to stop the war.
